Lazy Shauna Cinnamon Rolls

  • 1 can of biscuits (makes 8 rolls)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
Glaze: (combine all ingredients)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1-2 tablespoons milk
  • a few drops of vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Open the tube of dough, take one biscuit and roll into a long cylinder. Dredge the dough through the melted butter and into the cinnamon sugar mixture. Roll up and place in a buttered glass baking dish. Follow the same steps with the remaining biscuits. Pour the excess butter over the cinnamon rolls and bake for 20 minutes. After removing from oven, brush the glaze onto the rolls and let cool until ready to serve.

  1. So fun to see this recipe again. I first made this in 1972 when I was in 7th grade Home Economics class. I have been making this for over 42 years!!! Now that’s tried and true. I just made them the other day, yummy.. It’s a great recipe to have children help make. All of my children know how to make these. I never put a glaze on before…only walnuts or pecans. I will have to give it a try.
