Summertime photo shoots with our sweeties! We got to have Revery with us early this summer (yay!), and then Silas joined us a few weeks later for another cousin photo op! I tell ya… it is HARD to feel good about taking photos at this age. They are soo wiggly, finicky, temperamental, squirrelly, and distractible, among other adjectives… It’s just about impossible for my unprofessional self to get a picture perfect shot. Good news is: these document how life really is, which is far from perfection. Goofy smiles, double chin grins, hands in the mouth, digging in the dirt, short tempers, running away, pinching, squealing, scowling. Yep. That’s my family. Thank God for loving us in spite of ourselves! Ha!
All of that to say, I love each of these little cuties so very much! They are the bee’s knees.
