The Henry Fall

A whirlwind of a season it has been. But here are our favorite fall memories from 2018!

Olie’s new face

Our birthday cake, made by momma! Enjoyed it while visiting with Grandma and Woody on our way to our weekend shopping spree in Wichita!

Have you met my sister? She takes care of my kids during the day, and she’s a saint.

Evie and Silas went on a trip to the library with me one afternoon, with cookies on the lawn afterward!

Our dear friends, Miles and Jess got married! Our Grow Group is so much fun.

An evening picnic at the park!

Bricktown Brewery is the cat’s meow in WIchita. Blue Ribbon Burger. Sweet potato fries. OMG.

Evie loves her bathtime at Grandma Baldwin’s!

Pumpkin Pazoola with Grandma and Grandpa!

The advantages of living a few yards away from a baseball field… one being that we come play baseball (tee ball) and run around wildly! It’s the best!

CrossPoint hayrack ride!

Licking the beaters… can’t get much better!

Halloween! Logan is so smart, he made our real working robot costumes!

Went to Manhattan to visit Cole and stopped in at Britt’s Pumpkin Patch! Olan loved the slide, as long as momma went with!

Evie held her first chicken. She is in love with animals. It was not genetic.

We coulda played in the corn pit for hours.

Those blueberry eyes.

Evie gets to stay up late on Monday nights before Halloween to carve pumpkins at KWU with Christian Challenge. She carved her pumpkin 100% by herself. She was so proud!

Silas got to join us this year, with Tara and Ryan in Hawaii! He does NOT like to touch pumpkins. Ha ha!

The PJ Masks!

Gekko O

Evie’s friend, Ava, invited her to meet a friend’s hamster. Again, Evie and animals. Oh my.

Olan has exploded on his desire for reading. Proud mama!

Snow in KS!

Olan is unsure of his feelings about snow.

Pheasant Hunting Weekend at Mary and John’s! Evie, Courtney and Jace had a ball! And this horse really works, just like the oldtime rides!

The only picture from our All Staff Christian Challenge Retreat in Topeka. We were so spoiled! Thank you again to Jon and Priscilla Sapp for blessing our family so very much!

Evie’s preschool Stone Soup program! I didn’t realize the gravity of how big of a deal this was until it was kind of over. This is the only picture we have! Durf.

Although we didn’t think to get any pictures of Evie at her first program, Olan got one in her cute turkey hat!

Hayrack ride at Britt’s!

We got to have several backyard fire pit dinners, complete with s’mores!

Snowscapes from the back window!

Evie absolutely loves to read. She gets lost in books, but she also has a little bro who does too!

Fall Conference happened too!

Olan got to celebrate his birthday at PIZZA RANCH! We made a fun weeknight road trip to Hutch to enjoy some pizza and chicken and ice cream.

Evie’s drawings are becoming more detailed. Realism we’re still working on.
