Who knew hummus was so easy to make? And how come I’ve been buying $4 containers of hummus forever? Those Athenos peeps must be swimming in chickpea change, because homemade hummus is extremely easy, fast, and cheap to make. In less than five minutes, I blended 1 can of chickpeas, 1/2 teaspoon oregano and parsley, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, and 2 tablespoons garlic, and Logan and I were eating our afternoon snack!

did it taste just as good?
it tasted JUST as GOOD! it was a little thicker than the stuff in the store. but if you wanted to add more oil, that would change things. i, however, used oil sparingly so it would be better for me! yay!
